McClain Gallery is pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring works by Angelina Nasso and Katsumi Hayakawa. Both artists create uniquely seductive and ethereal abstractions inspired by the natural world.
Angelina Nasso was born in Sydney, Australia and lives and works in New York. She has studied at the School of Visual Arts, New York, China National Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China, the San Francisco Art Institute, California, and East Sydney College, Australia. Her work focuses on expressing elements of nature through color, space and form.
Katsumi Hayakawa was born in 1970 in Tochigi, Japan. He lives and works in Japan and previously studied at the School of Visual Arts, New York and Nihon University College of Art in Tokyo. His paintings explore the phenomenological experience of seeing.
